My body rested, mind at ease, and a feeling of “this is how people live who choose a path of being one with the land.”
Who knew… a mere drive from the city's electric lights, fluorescent bikinis with bodacious bums, Caribbean beats, and jet skis skimming the waters to islands made of hearts… a paradise exists.
Flash to now, my back against a sick whip named Foxy Roxy, a new adventure buddy with wheels carrying me to my destiny, and sound system providing the anthem and soundtrack. Boom Boom Boooyyaah!

A far-off place.
A stranger in a strange land- a recent feeling I had where horses roamed, hidden from my sight, trash in what was once clear waters, humidity so potent it stuck dresses to every part of my body. Uncomfortable.
And yet, the Underwater Sunrise in a sculpture garden Thirty Three Thousand Leagues Under The Sea helped forge the foundation for the project that is emerging once more.
And gotta hallaahh at my girl who helped make this disorienting trip make sense. She is a mermaid with electric blue eyes and hair of alabaster hope. She was my constant cheerleader saying it in person or whispering on the winds during my solo journey. “You got this. I'm forever by your side. Follow the beaches call, get lost in the jungle, enjoy the ride and the fairy paths.”
