This week I will be exploring and sharing art on the concept of Dream/Reality, Fantasy/Non-Fiction, and the line in between them… that is, if a line even exists
……Dancing on the Line……

This morning I got up to chase another Sunrise, and the grey lingered. Grey is fine and holds a certain melancholy charm, but it takes a lot of looking and recreating to make it dimensional
I got up, assured the Sunrise would glow... for there were ample clouds, the perfect striated kind. So I chased the pink, chased the moment for that "Awe!" for the "Is this even Real moment"
For in those moments, I know this is a beautiful dream
These moments make me feel like this life is even more of a dream…and That is when it starts to make sense
Like the dolphin cresting as a faint peach peeks through the taunting dawn
And then the sun bursts through like white liquid gold. The clouds had their moment, delicately cradled in the creator's hand, making their edges glow
The birds overhead, in the pattern indicating they know more than we ever will, the rowers gliding ever so slightly in the background to the marvel that is this dream
My fellow Sunrise Chasers... we have done it again. Are you the Mirage or am I?
The clouds were grey, which I thought would be eternity. The moment brief
Then that moment came, the one that pulls back the veil and I see the dreamy dream again
And it makes me smile
Another Sunrise Chase
Another success
Another moment alone,
Yet this time I was talking with You

**EXT. TROPICAL BEACH - DAY**
The scene opens with crystal-clear neon aqua waters on a beach with the softest white sugar sands. DREAMER 1 and DREAMER 2 lounge relaxed and lavishly on a pastel pink + lavender blanket, surrounded by an idyllic paradise.
DREAMER 1
(thoughtful)
If you look too hard, you won't see. You know, like, try looking at this situation from a bird's eye view.
DREAMER 2
(curiously)
What about looking at it like a UFO down onto earth?
DREAMER 1
Heck yeah, dig it.
DREAMER 2
(confused)
Wait, what’s the situation again?
DREAMER 1
That this life is just a dream.
DREAMER 2
(pondering)
Aaah right, well then, am I dreaming you, or are you dreaming me? Am I a dream? If so, whose dream am I in?
DREAMER 1
(lightly)
Well, don't overthink it that much, buddy. You do that from time to time, ya know.
DREAMER 2
(realizing)
Whooowyah, I know.
Well, anywhoo, we did it, yo! Aqua clear waters, swimming like little dolphins, just listening to the sound of nothing but sweetness. Tropics life bruv.
I really didn't know if we would make it.
DREAMER 1
For real, me too.
Look! The breathing electric purple flowers I was telling you about, the codes in the breeze, high-definition plants.
DREAMER 2
Yesssss, next level dude!
Ya know this has got me thinking…
DREAMER 1
Me too…
*They pause, taking in the surreal beauty around them.*
DREAMER 1 and DREAMER 2
(together, wondering)
IS KAUAI A STATE OF MIND?

**EXT. PEACH BOULDER MOUNTAINS- DAY**
The scene flashes to the DREAMERS on the winding backroads of the mainland, cruising like cool cats in a white and baby pink interior 1971 Cadillac Eldorado convertible.
DREAMER 2
(in disbelief)
Wow! Did that just happen?
DREAMER 1
(mysteriously)
Only one question, my friend:
Real or Imagined?
Real or Imagined?
*The invisible camera pulls back slowly, capturing the car, boulders, then flashing back to the tropical beach, then back + forth between both scenes, with the two DREAMERS chillin in the fresh and balmy air.*
